How to Use
MATA AI Director

Complete guide to creating professional AI videos

Quick Start

MATA AI Director automatically optimizes your ideas into cinematic video prompts. Simply describe what you want to create, and the system handles the technical details.

  1. Describe your video — Be clear and specific about what you want to see, or select a preset to customize
  2. Upload reference image (optional) — Highly recommended for products
  3. Choose duration and specifications — Select 4, 8, or 12 seconds based on your needs
  4. Generate — Once payment is processed, MATA AI Director + Hyperprompting™ optimizes your prompt and begins video generation (typically 5-10 minutes)
  5. Download — Video link expires in 1 hour, download immediately

Choosing the Right Duration

Shot Count Guidelines: To avoid cut-off scenes or truncated audio, keep each prompt focused and limit the number of shots: for 4-second clips, use 1–2 shots; for 8-second clips, use 2–3 shots; and for 12-second clips, use 3–4 shots maximum (5 risks audio or action being cut).

We recommend generating 1–3 versions with 3–4 shots each, then selecting and editing the best sequences in post-production.

Character Consistency: If your video features a recurring character, capture a still frame from your first generation showing the character clearly within the environment and use it as a reference image for subsequent generations to maintain consistency across all scenes.

4 Seconds — Quick Impact

Best for: Logo reveals, product pops, reaction shots, social media bumpers

Not recommended for: Stories, narratives, complex demonstrations, dialogue

8 Seconds — Product Showcase (Recommended)

Best for: Product demonstrations, before/after sequences, social media advertisements, simple problem-to-solution narratives

Recommended structure: Problem (2s) → Solution (4s) → Result (2s)

Important: Videos will feel incomplete if you try to fit too much content or don't specify how the video should end in your prompt. Always describe a clear ending — videos should resolve naturally, not cut off mid-action.

12 Seconds — Complete Stories

Best for: Brand narratives, emotional journeys, hero transformations, customer testimonials

Recommended structure: Setup (3s) → Journey (5s) → Climax (2s) → Resolution (2s)

Pricing: The price adjusts automatically based on your selected duration and resolution. You'll see the final price before payment.

Reference Images

Pro Tip: Reference images dramatically improve product accuracy and brand consistency. Use them whenever product fidelity matters.

How it works: Your reference image will be used as the first frame of your video. The AI will animate from this exact starting point, ensuring your product or subject appears accurately from the beginning.

When to Use Reference Images

Required Dimensions

Aspect Ratio Exact Dimensions Best For
16:9 Landscape 1792 × 1024 Advertisements, YouTube, Presentations
9:16 Portrait 1024 × 1792 TikTok, Instagram Stories, Reels

Image Processing: MATA AI Director will automatically crop your uploaded image to match the selected aspect ratio. For best quality, we recommend uploading images already in your desired aspect ratio (16:9 or 9:16).

Copyright & Ownership

You must have legal rights to use any reference image.

Content Guidelines

Restricted Content

Regarding Brand Names

Real brand names may work, but require careful consideration:

Safe alternative: Use generic descriptions instead. "Premium smartphone" rather than specific model names, "athletic running shoes" instead of brand names.

Common Issues & Solutions

Video Feels Incomplete

Problem: Video ends abruptly mid-action

Solution: Ensure your description allows for natural completion. Actions should finish, audio should resolve. Don't attempt to fit excessive content into short durations.

Reference Image Rejected

Common causes:

Solution: Use exact dimensions, ensure no faces are present, only use images you legally own.

Generation Stops at 99% Complete

Reason: Content passed initial validation but failed final review (typically copyright or safety concerns)

Note: Contact support to resolve your request

Prevention: Follow content guidelines, use generic descriptions when uncertain
